Allowing courses with grades below your minimum        The following table gives instructions for RU exceptions, which can be created either in EARS or from the 370 screen of the SDB.  However, if you want DARS to accept a course with a grade below the minimum for a given requirement, use an RR exception. AREAS OF INQUIRY
To remove the following for postbac students if the reqs have been satisfied elsewhere but the courses have not been transferred to UW:  Create an SQ exception.  AC1:V to remove A&H.  AC2:I to remove SSc   (Use AC1: if you're not removing A&H) ECON 200/IND E 250 can be removed by placing a 0 (zero) in an AC: field.  If both fields have    been used, create a second SQ exception. (Or you can waive the course in the usual manner.) The "addl 4 credits of A&H or SSc" requirement will automatically be removed from PB audits. Reductions for postbac students, if the minimums were not completed in previous studies, can be made using ENGR-A&H and ENGR-SSC together with the field, REQHRS: (- #).
